Compatibility

ONVIF-S compatibility matrix

The C1 is an ONVIF-S (Profile S) device. This is how it behaves with common third-party recorders and video-management software over ONVIF.

ONVIF Profile S covers live streaming, PTZ and configuration. Feature availability depends on the third-party software's ONVIF implementation and may change with app updates. For app-specific issues, contact the relevant software developer.

Quick answers

Before you write to us

The four things we are asked most. More answers are on the FAQ page.

The camera won't join my Wi-Fi

The C1 uses 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi only. Keep your phone on the 2.4 GHz network while pairing and check the password has no trailing space. If it still fails, hold the reset button for 10 seconds and pair again.

How do I reset the camera?

Hold the reset button next to the microSD slot for 10 seconds until the camera restarts, then add it again in iCSee.

Playback says there are no recordings

Format the microSD card in the app (Settings → Storage) and check that recording is set to continuous or motion. Cards up to 128 GB are supported.

Alerts arrive late, or not at all

Allow notifications for iCSee in your phone's settings and, on Android, exclude it from battery optimisation. Alerts also depend on the camera's own internet connection.
